Can you imagine finding your gifts at a young age? I remember singing from a really young age. During these years, my older brother and I were “discovered” by our school, we sang beautifully and won many Eisteddfod gold awards. We also learnt how to be seen on stage. this would be important in the future and my work today.

My grandparents played a significant role in my childhood. My mother’s parents were good to us. My grandfather had the kindest heart and big blue eyes. My granny was amazing at sewing, and I remember she sowed an entire baby doll wardrobe for me for Christmas one year. I also remember being really chatty and confident in primary school. This was a gift of mine that took a back seat in high school, I remember telling my school that I did not live with my birth parents. They contacted my parents to ask for the address of my other parents to send a report. Can you imagine how honestly I believed this “truth” that I made up? Finally, I love writing stories… I would write and write. I have only recently had the courage to start writing again and am so grateful.
