2006 – 2010 New Beginnings...

New beginnings is an apt way to describe these years. Not only did I take on a national leadership role, but I also worked with amazing people who showed me that we could achieve outstanding things if we believed in what we did and brought all we have. During these years, I found my flow in understanding organisational development and leading people. I have worked for many leaders. Wendy Phillips allowed me to learn, lead, and dream big; she held me accountable – it was one of the best partnerships I have ever had. As you can see, I was passionate about work and not focusing on marriage. My wonderful parents helped me raise my children. I hardened my heart to trust, to intimacy and dedicated my world to providing, learning and achieving (achieving was a means to an end – it was there to help me live). I was lonely and not connected to my partner; my world seemed to revolve around work, money, projects and family. The pace was breakneck speed. In 2007 October, I travelled to Canada and met my now-husband and business partner John. I moved to Australia with my children in 2008 on a temporary work visa. It was challenging navigating the GFC, work visas, learning about me, a new relationship with past ghosts haunting my every step. Little did I know that in the next ten years, my life would change altogether! My move to Australia was a defining moment of new beginnings, finding me and living my purpose.
